The Canadian Peacekeeping Press publishes books, booklets and other
informative materials on all aspects of peace operations.
The Canadian Peacekeeping Press has three goals:
- Promoting an understanding of peace operations issues;
- Supporting research initiatives through the publication of
findings; and
- Complementing the PPC’s education and training programmes,
and those of other institutions, publications for teaching, research
and study purposes.
The Canadian Peacekeeping Press publishes five to six books annually.
Manuscripts, book proposals, articles and other materials are subject
to peer review to ensure high academic standards. There are four
categories of works that the Canadian Peacekeeping Press publishes:
- The Pearson Papers, working papers on peace operations issues;
- The Cornwallis Group, a series of workshop proceedings presented
annually at the PPC by researchers;
- The Academic Series, research-oriented books that include recently
completed theses and dissertations; and
- General interest books on peace operations of popular interest
to the general reading population.
