The Pearson Peacekeeping Centre collaborates extensively with like-minded
organizations and networks. Through these relationships, we seek
to create mutual benefit by enhancing our programmes and adding
value to the work of our counterparts.

The Centre currently works with:
- The Government of Canada, including all agencies involved with
the development and implementation of policy related to peace
operations;
- Organizations engaged in field operations. These may be Canadian
or international, official and non-official entities;
- Academic institutions; and
- Other peace operations education and training centres.
The Pearson Peacekeeping Centre uses the following criteria when
making a decision on which relationships or partnerships to enter.
An initiative will usually have elements of all three criteria.
It will:
- Build on the objectives and distinctive competencies of the
Centre;
- Enhance Canada’s contribution to international peace and
security, and be consistent with overall Canadian policy objectives;
and
- Respond to the expressed needs of organizations working in the
field, or of peace operations education and training centres working
to prepare field personnel.
Please see our Networks or Partnerships
pages, for further details about our collaborative relationships.
