Sandra Dunsmore joined the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre as
President in February 2002, with twenty years of experience
in the field of peacebuilding, international development and
humanitarian assistance.
During her career, Sandra has designed, developed and managed
peacebuilding programs in conflict and post-conflict situations,
working with leaders from all sectors of society, including
governmental, non-governmental and constituency organizations. |

Kenneth C. Eyre

Ken Eyre has been involved with the Pearson Peacekeeping
Centre since 1994 in a variety of senior faculty positions.
As an expert in military and peace operations, Ken contributes
to many prestigious training centres and colleges. He has
conducted several peacekeeping-related field research programs
in Bosnia, Croatia, Rwanda, Haiti, and most recently, in Eritrea
and Ethiopia. His writings appear frequently in professional,
technical and popular journals.

David Lightburn joined the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre (PPC)
in 2000, with more than thirty years military and political
experience. David’s extensive background includes national
military and diplomatic service and wide experience with international
organizations, modern peacekeeping, crisis management and
civil-military relations.

Jocelyn Coulon joined the permanent staff of the Pearson
Peacekeeping Centre in 1999 as the Director of the Montréal
Campus, after serving as a faculty member since 1996. In his
current role, he manages the daily operations of the Montréal
campus and conducts all relations for the French-speaking
media.

As Director of Corporate Services, John is responsible for
the general administration and support services of the Pearson
Peacekeeping Centre.
Prior to joining the PPC, John served in the Canadian Forces
(Army) as an Infantry Officer for nearly thirty years where
he held a series of line and staff appointments both in Canada
and abroad including Chief of Staff of the Northern Ontario
Militia District and Chief Instructor of the Royal Canadian
Regiment Battle School.
