September 21 - United Nations International Day of Peace

Established by a United Nations resolution in 1981, the International Day of Peace was first celebrated September 1982. This annual date is meant to mark global progress toward building cultures of peace, and serve as a reminder of our permanent commitment to peace, above all interests and differences of any kind.

UN Mission Visit

United Nations Mission in Liberia,
Senior decision makers from the target police/gendarmerie organizations will have the opportunity to visit an existent UN Mission.  Participants will gain a deepened appreciation of the challenges and opportunities in POs in order to enhance their national engagement.
