  • Canadian Forces College
  • Created as the Royal Canadian Air Force War Staff College in 1943, the Canadian Forces College offers courses that enriches the professional development of military officers.
  • Canadian Red Cross
  • With the support of the Canadian public and the Canadian International Development Agency, the Canadian Red Cross works in situations of war and natural disaster to bring urgently needed relief items, reunite families and help rebuild communities.
  • CARE Canada
  • CARE Canada is an operational member of the CARE International network, supporting and implementing development projects and relief efforts around the world.
  • Cérium
  • CÉRIUM, an international studies centre, has the mission to encourage greater understanding of international issues. This mission is accomplished through research, training and dissemination activities.
  • Cornwallis Group
  • The Cornwallis Group is dedicated to providing an opportunity for persons interested in the broad disciplines of international peace and security to present papers focused on the theory and practice of their specific interests. Each presenter leads the dialogue on what works, where and why. The Cornwallis Group meets often at the Cornwallis Campus of the PPC.
  • Ecole de Maintien de la Paix (Mali)
  • Mali’s "Ecole de Maintien de la Paix", in partnership with the KAIPTC and the Nigeria War College, supports and develops the most relevant operational and strategic training for today’s peace operations.
  • Economic Community Of West African States
  • ECOWAS is a regional group of 15 African countries whose mission is to promote economic integration in all fields of Africa’s economic activity.
  • European Union
  • The European Union (EU) is a family of democratic European countries, committed to working together for peace and prosperity.
  • Folke Bernadotte Academy
  • The Folke Bernadotte Academy is a Swedish government agency dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of international conflict and crisis management, with a particular focus on peace operations.
  • Government of Canada
  • The PPC currently receives core institutional funding from the Government of Canada. The Government of Canada looks to the PPC to deliver programming that fulfills Canada’s international obligations.
  • Inter-American Defense College
  • The Inter-American Defense College is an international educational institution.
  • International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres
  • The International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC) is an open and voluntary association comprised of organizations dealing with peace operations research, education, and training. The only organization of its kind, it was initiated by the Pearson Peacekeeping Center (PPC) in 1995.
  • Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre
  • The KAIPTC offers Ghanaian, regional and international participants the opportunity to examine specific peace operations issues at the operational level and to update and share their knowledge of the latest practices through conferences, discussions, lectures and computer assisted training exercises.
  • NOMAD Photos
  • NOMAD Photos is a Canadian-based co-operative of photojournalists, owned by its members, dedicated to the common goal of using the economic efficiencies and social power of a collective to highlight under-reported social, political, health and environmental issues worldwide.

  • The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs strives to promote an enriched understanding of the challenges affecting our world through the graduate program in International Affairs at Carleton University.
  • North Atlantic Treaty Organization
  • The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is an alliance of 26 countries from North America and Europe committed to fulfilling the goals of the North Atlantic Treaty signed on April 4 1949.
  • Oxfam Canada
  • Oxfam Canada is an international development agency working with over 100 partner organizations in Africa and the Americas. Oxfam Canada is a member of Oxfam International, an alliance of 13 Oxfams worldwide.
  • Réseau: The Francophone Research Network on Peace Operations
  • The Réseau Network is intended to bring together French-speaking practitioners, professors, researchers, students, and journalists who are interested in all aspects of peace operations. Réseau provides up-to-date information on all UN missions.
  • Royal Canadian Mounted Police
  • The RCMP is the Canadian national police service and an agency of the Ministry of Public Safety Canada.
  • Royal Military College
  • RMC was established by an act of the Canadian Parliament for the purpose of providing a complete education in all branches necessary to provide a thorough knowledge of the military profession.
  • United Nations Association in Canada
  • UNA-Canada is a national charitable organization established in 1946 whose mandate is to engage the Canadian public in the work of the United Nations. Its goals are accomplished through a staff team at the National Office and a network of volunteer-driven regional branches.
  • UNICEF Canada
  • UNICEF Canada is the most visible United Nations presence across the country. UNICEF Canada’s mandate is to raise funds in support of UNICEF’s work for children in 156 countries and territories and build awareness among Canadians about the issues facing the world’s children.
  • United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations
  • UN peacekeepers—soldiers and military officers, police and civilian personnel from many countries—monitor and observe peace processes that emerge in post-conflict situations and assist conflicting parties to implement the peace agreement they have signed. DPKO provides political and executive direction to UN peacekeeping operations.
  • United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
  • The UNHCR is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees.
  • United States Institute of Peace
  • The United States Institute of Peace is an independent, nonpartisan, national institution established and funded by Congress. Its goals are to help prevent and resolve violent conflicts, promote post-conflict stability and development, and increase peace building capacity, tools, and intellectual capital worldwide.
