Wayne Currie joined the faculty of Pearson Peacekeeping Centre
(PPC) after many years experience in military operations.
Before joining the PPC, Wayne served 13 months in Sinai Egypt
with the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO), the force
responsible for monitoring the Treaty of Peace between Israel
and Egypt. As a member of the MFO, Wayne was responsible for
the Morale Support Program for the 2000 members of the Force.
He also conducted investigations into allegations of Treaty
violations, and was the Deputy Commanding Officer for the
29-member Canadian Contingent of the MFO.

Lyndell E. Findlay

Lyndell Findlay joined the faculty at the Pearson Peacekeeping
Centre (PPC) in1999, and is responsible for the development
and delivery of courses on peacekeeping negotiation, conflict
analysis and refugee issues, both at the Cornwallis campus
and internationally, under various Canadian Government capacity-building
programs.

Major Ron Miller, Ba, Cd

Ron Miller has been involved with the Pearson Peacekeeping
Centre since 2001, where he has developed and managed various
training courses, including the induction training course
for the international cease-fire monitoring unit in South
Central Sudan, and is currently filling the role of Course
Developer/Manager in the Programmes Department.

Major Luc-André Racine,
Mid,Cd [email protected]
Major Racine joined the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre
as a faculty member in 1999 following an extensive military
career.
Prior to his arrival at the PPC, Luc worked at the Royal
Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, on the Land
Forces Technical and Staff program. Earlier, he was employed
as the Administration Company Commander with the Québec
Area Battle School in Valcartier. |

Cornelis (Kees) Steenken
[email protected]
Kees Steenken joined the Canadian Navy in 1975 and graduated
from the Royal Military College in 1980 with a Bachelors in
Commerce. He served in numerous staff and operational positions
onboard and ashore and is qualified as an advanced Antisubmarine
Air Controller and Instructor as well as an Anti-Submarine
Director, Operations Officer and Combat officer. In 1992 he
was selected to be a UN Military Observer to the successful
UN Mission to El Salvador which ended that country’s
twelve year Civil War. From the summer of 1993 to 1996, he
was appointed in various command positions at the Canadian
Forces Officer Candidate School, ending up as the Deputy Commandant.
