Learning Activities
The Pearson Peacekeeping Centre offers customizable training programs to client organizations all over the world. These programs are comprised of our courses and seminars (not open for individual applicants).
Courses:
A course is a learning activity that can last one to six weeks depending on the subject covered and client requirements. It usually focuses on a broad theme and provides participants with basic knowledge, lessons learned and best practices on a variety of topics. Participants include civilians, police and military officers who want to enhance their knowledge and skills to participate more effectively to peace operations.

Seminars:
A seminar is a learning activity spread over a few days where high level decision makers (civilians, military and police) meet to discuss emerging trends, issues, best practices on a variety of topics related to peace and security. Participants have the opportunity to engage in discussions, listen to subject matter experts and learned from each other.
